Louet S10C

The Louet S10 Concept is Louet's original S10 spinning wheel completely redesigned. Unlike almost any other spinning wheel on the market you can customise it from the very start to create exactly the wheel you want. If, later on you decide you want something different you just order those parts and adapt your wheel accordingly.

it isn't as complicated as it sounds. Just follow these simple steps to choose your wheel and, if you need any further help or advice, please do contact us.

1. Choose between single or double treadle

2. Choose from the classic, 3 -spoke or 5-spoke drive wheels

3. Choose whether you want to start with the Irish tension (bobbin led) or Scotch tension (flyer led) flyer/bobbin system. (If you decide later that you want to swap over tension systems you just need to buy the appropriate mother of all, flyer and bobbins. Changing over the mother of all is simply a matter of undoing a star nut, swapping the mother of all and replacing the star  nut.)

4. Choose the appropriate flyer and bobbins. At this stage, unless you are very clear that you want, for example, only a bulky flyer and bobbins (Irish tension) or the high speed set (Scotch tension) we would recommend that you choose between the hooked and sliding yarn guide version of the standard IrT or ScT flyer and 3 or 4 matching bobbins.

To make it even easier, we have priced up standard versions of each wheel below. Each of these wheels comes complete with a sliding yarn guide standard flyer, three standard bobbins, a twine rack and, for double treadle wheels, a bobbin bar.
